Below are the official rules, scoring, and game format that keep 2GNZ competitive, FAST, and fun for every father-son team.

COMPETITION DIVISIONS
Division 1
Ages 8–10
Division 2
Ages 11–14
Division 3
Ages 15–18

GAMEPLAY
10 Minute Running cCock
10 Second Shot Clock
Half-court 2-on-2
Make it, Take it
Check ball after every score
Must clear the ball beyond the three-point line after every change of possession.
SCORING
Inside the arc = 2 Points
Beyond the arc = 3 Points
PAINT RULES
Offensive Rebounds allowed and encouraged.
Offensive players may not back down a defender for more than 3 seconds.
FOULS
Team Fouls: Fouls 1–4 reset possession.
Foul #5 sends the offense to the line for 1 free throw.
Offensive Fouls = Turnover
A foul on game point awards 2 free throws.
Both must be made to win.
Miss either shot and possession goes to the other team with no point awarded.
TIME OUTS
Each Team gets one 1 min time out and
one 30 second time out per game.
OVERTIME
If tied after regulation;
First team to score wins.
